Last night in Edmonds the streets were packed with people trying to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus. Edmonds KOMO was reporting from the roof of City Hall as well as roaming around the crowd to get some great shots of the people enjoying the festivities. The day was a celebration of community which included the Maplewood Jazz Band and the beautiful voices of North Sound Church. All of this was possible because of the hard work of the Edmonds Chamber.
Songs like O' Christmas Tree and Frosty the Snowman were on the play lists and of course, Here Comes Santa Claus played while Santa rode down the street in a vintage fire truck. PCC was on site handing out goodies, the Chamber had cookies, and Waterfront Coffee had...well...coffee!
I couldn't have counted the smiles if I tried, it was an enjoyable evening all around. Edmonds, as usual, was a very happy place to be!
